Kupe - I would go ahead and claim it because it allows you to provide additional information your consulting business, plus you will be able to start viewing the stats that Google collects around your business page. The more "breadcrumbs" you leave on the Internet that point back to your company, the more chances you have that someone will find you.

For example, when I was the community manager for Catalyze, I claimed the the community on Google and the profile continues to draw page views even though the community is mostly 'dead'.

Thanks again or a great post. So my company is not a restaurant or brick and mortar business. As a training/consulting company are there benefits for using Google LBC? Is it possible?
